A big gravel lot with picnic tables and fire pits. There's a kiosk with the Kanab Field Office transportation map on it.
This is where you park for the Peek-A-Boo slot canyon and the country around it.
Stop in Kanab first. The Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument visitor center has current conditions and the detailed maps. Slot canyon country turns on the weather, and a route that was fine last week can be a bad idea today.

Getting there
Head north out of Kanab for 9 miles on Highway 89. Watch for the Peek-A-Boo sign and take the turn east just after it.
The track climbs a small hill and crosses a cattle guard. Then it opens out into a large gravel parking area.
